The book is here
Somewhere in the edit I had to accept something frustrating: a film has a running time, and this material doesn't.
Seventeen years of interviews compress badly. There were conversations I could not fit into a documentary that I also could not throw away — long, careful, technical answers from people who had given me hours of their time. On screen they'd have been a paragraph. On the page they could be a chapter.
So I wrote the book.
Save Your Life: The Ultimate Guide to the True History of Cancer and How to Ignite Your Own Healing Powers covers the history the film moves through quickly, and it goes considerably deeper into the research. It's a reference, the kind of thing you come back to with a notebook open.
It's out now, and it's a bestseller, which still doesn't feel real to write down. It's available as an audiobook, and I narrate it myself.
The film and the book are the same project. If you only have room for one right now, take whichever one you'll actually get through.
